The Story

From the creator of Harrowing History comes the tragic retelling of the Nellie Bly train wreck that occurred nearly one hundred and twenty-three years ago.

Step back in time with your talented tellers as we revisit what happened on that ill-fated day on February 21, 1901.

Costumed storytellers will take on the roles of those who lived the tale. Put yourself in their shoes to hear what it was like to experience the disaster.

Not only is this a local tale of tragedy and loss, but one of changing innovation, industry, the railroad's power and growth, and the human connection to it all. You may think you know this story, but we're willing to bet we'll reveal more than a few facts you've never heard before!

There will be a brief Q&A with the creator and tellers after each show.
